Artist Statement:

“The Breaking Point” captures the fragile threshold between despair and deliverance. A veiled figure, submerged in darkness, reaches upward toward a fractured barrier of light. The cracks above suggest both the imminent collapse of confinement and the possibility of release.

This work resists a single interpretation—it is at once suffocating and liberating, devastating and hopeful. Viewers may see struggle, surrender, or the birth of transformation. In its silence lies an echo: every soul eventually faces a breaking point, and in that moment, the darkness either devours—or the light breaks through.
