> “This painting, ‘The Dream of Solomon,’ is a reflection on power, sacrifice, and the silent weight of divine trust. Inspired by the Qur’anic account of Sulaymān (ʿalayhi as-salām), I placed a raw piece of flesh upon a throne enclosed in glass — symbolizing the fragility of worldly authority when separated from spiritual submission. The water beneath mirrors the heavens, while the glass above reminds us that nothing escapes divine sight.”
