🖋 Artist Statement

> In this painting titled "Raḥmatullāh", I have portrayed the spiritual duality of destruction and divine salvation. The broken yellow ship symbolizes the collapse of human effort — fragile and faded. From the ocean's depth emerges the blue whale — colossal, graceful, and unexpected — representing the unseen mercy of Allah that arrives when hope sinks.

The painting is inspired by the story of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him), who found divine mercy inside what others saw as punishment. Just as the whale carried him from despair to redemption, so too does Allah’s mercy carry us through storms we cannot survive on our own.
