Artist Statement — Embers of Memory
In Embers of Memory, I explore the emotional residue left behind by time, silence, and human experience. Through layered textures and explosive fragments of color emerging from darkness, the work reflects the way memories continue to glow beneath the surface of the mind.
The painting is not a depiction of a specific place or moment, but an emotional landscape — where chaos, nostalgia, pain, and hope coexist. Each mark and texture represents fragments of hidden emotions that refuse to disappear completely.
My artistic practice is deeply connected to psychological expression and the unseen emotional world. I use abstraction as a language to transform inner experiences into visual form, allowing viewers to interpret the work through their own memories and feelings.
