Blue Isolation

Blue Isolation — Artist Statement
Blue Isolation explores the quiet space between being surrounded by the world and feeling completely alone within it.
The figure turns inward, covering the face as though trying to disappear from an overwhelming reality. The intense blue surrounding the body represents an emotional atmosphere rather than a physical place—cold, endless, and difficult to escape. Yet beneath the darkness, traces of green, red, and gold remain visible, suggesting that the self is never entirely erased.
The work is about silence, emotional distance, and the invisible walls we sometimes build around ourselves. It does not portray isolation simply as loneliness, but as an internal landscape where thought, memory, fear, and identity become difficult to separate.
Blue Isolation invites the viewer to look beyond the figure and consider a question: How can someone be surrounded by light and still feel alone?
