Artist Statement — VÉLORA
VÉLORA is a triptych exploring the unseen architecture of human existence—identity, emotion, and the forces that shape us beyond what can be named. Three faceless figures emerge through fractured geometric forms, deliberately stripped of individual identity. Their anonymity transforms them from portraits into universal vessels of human experience.
The geometry represents the structures we construct within ourselves: memory, perception, desire, fear, and transformation. Color becomes an emotional language, while fragmentation suggests that identity is never entirely whole or fixed. Each figure exists independently, yet together they form a single visual continuum—three states of being within one unseen reality.
The work asks a quiet question: If identity is removed, what remains of the self?
Through abstraction, symbolism, and a theatrical presentation, VÉLORA invites the viewer to look beyond appearance and encounter the invisible structures that define human existence.
