Product Description:

In the silence of the earth, a single hand rises—desperate, pleading, yet not defeated.

“The Hand” is a symbolic oil painting that explores the boundary between death and hope, despair and mercy. A freshly dug Muslim grave lies open, its soil scattered, with one hand reaching out from within—not to terrify, but to testify. It is a plea, a final whisper for help, echoing through the red sky that looms with divine gravity.

To the side, an ancient olive tree stands tall—its fruit bearing witness to peace and divine wisdom—while a jujube tree (বরই গাছ) silently evokes the resilience of life. The deep red hue of the sky mirrors the intensity of the unseen cries that often go unheard.

This artwork draws inspiration from the Islamic spiritual tradition, where visiting the sick and helping the desperate are acts of mercy through which the soul walks into Allah’s light. The hand is not merely a symbol of the dead—it is also the living, who cry out in silence every day.
